Who is responsible for your data

What data the website collects

The website has no contact form, registration, online booking, ordering or newsletter. You do not enter any personal data on it.

If you contact us by phone or e-mail (for example to book a table or order delivery), we use your name, phone number or e-mail only to handle your request.

Cookie-free visitor statistics

To understand how the website is used, we measure traffic with our own simple tool. It uses no cookies or any other storage on your device, and the data is not shared with anyone.

• We store: the page visited, language, where you came from (website name only, e.g. google.com), device type (mobile / desktop), visit length, how far you scrolled, which sections you saw, and clicks on phone, e-mail, map or social media links.
• We do not store your IP address or any other identifier. Visitors are told apart by an anonymous code that changes every day, so we cannot follow you over time or identify you afterwards.
• The data is stored on our own server and records older than 14 months are deleted automatically.
• Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Server logs

The web server automatically writes a technical record for every request (IP address, time, requested address, browser type). It is used only for security and troubleshooting and is deleted automatically after 14 days.

Cookies

The website sets no cookies of its own for visitors — neither analytics nor advertising cookies. Google Analytics and other tracking tools are not enabled.

A strictly necessary cookie is created only when logging in to the website administration (restaurant staff only).

Google may set cookies through the embedded map (see below).

Third-party services

• Google Maps — the Contact section contains an embedded map from Google. When it loads, your browser connects to Google's servers, so Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. More: https://policies.google.com/privacy
• Facebook and Instagram — the website only contains links. Nothing is loaded from these networks until you click a link.
• The website author's logo (Gold Cat) in the footer is loaded from the goldcat.sk server, which may therefore see your IP address in its regular technical logs.
• Fonts are hosted directly on our server and are not loaded from Google Fonts.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Since the visitor statistics are anonymous, we cannot find records relating to a specific person.
